Comic-Con ENVY!
Geeks and fans of all shapes and sizes have once again flooded San Diego for the yearly Comic-Con. Having lived in Southern California for several years, a few of which I spent in San Diego itself, I am kind of bummed that I never went to the damn thing. It is one of the biggest pop culture events in the world, and I consistently missed it. Year after year. Now that I live far away and have more pertinent expenses, I’m kind of mad at myself that I never went at least once.
It seems like everyone is there, seriously. Comic authors, actors, etc., the whole nine yards. Total craziness, and I never went. Yeah, the crowds are probably a pain to deal with at times, but where else can you see tons of pop culture icons in one place? I can’t believe I missed it repeatedly!
So yeah, I’m thinking about this and feeling lots of envy for those of you at Comic-Con right now! You guys are lucky!

If it weren’t for my nagging to move away from San Diego, you could have still had the chance to go! T_T I’m sorry…

I only ask myself why I never went now that I live far away! It seems like a much bigger deal when it isn’t close by, you know? I’m kinda bummed at myself for not going, really, not anyone else. Just like Disneyland doesn’t seem like a big deal to someone living in Orange County, but it is a massive deal to some kid living in the Midwest.
